Meet Your Skipper
Pete has been sailing for over 20 years, and brings a wealth of UK cruising knowledge to your trip. While he has skippered boats for the Round the Island Race, the love of sailing for him comes from finding those tucked away anchorages with few others around! He is always keen to get the crew involved in sailing the boat (while he has a cuppa) and as Zara is such a big boat, there are always things to get on with, if the crew wants to.
Having cruised the South Coast and abroad with his family, Pete has stocked up with all the toys to make holidays great: paddle board, kayaks, lobster pots, fishing gear and snorkeling equipment.
Crew
You might notice the black Ninja in some of the pictures above. This is Matt, Pete’s son. He is a regular feature on some of the trips as an extra pair of hands. He is actually pretty useful and has recently qualified as a Commercial Yachtmaster. He does think he’s King Neptune sometimes….
